In the meanwhile, I wandered around discovering new items and fell in love with this sideboard. Don't look at the center of the picture too closely. It's a bit cockeyed since it's actually two pictures blended into one. The match up was a bit short of perfect. No mater though; I'm sure you get the idea.
If I could have, I would have brought this cross home with me. But at $138.00, I knew it would find a home somewhere else. 
However . . . the beauty of inspiration is that you can take something that appeals to you and reinvent it to make it your own. The possibilities of remaking this into my own are . . . well . . . endless and I have the simple pleasure of knowing that I don't have to spend a penny to recreate this. I already have an abundance of the materials I will need in my possession.

We have a shop here, that begs one to come back again and again. (I love that cross, too) It is kind of a meditation to go around and aground again.

I love the kitchen cabinet! I would never have known that it is two pictures!! My friend has one like it from her grandmnother which she refinished to look like it did when it was new. Are you going to make a cross like that? The Pope's message is kind of mind bending, to think of a Pope giving a speech on digital things! I got really drawn into the Vivian Maier story, wow!!! Her shots are amazing!! I wonder if they will EVER get done scanning all the photos?? Her personal things should be kept for putting in the galleries as decorations, so to speak, at her showings. Too bad she didn't live to see any of this. I would love to go to a showing. Now, Annie, you and I need to hit the streets!!!

I want that cabinet and I want it now! Good thing I wasn't with you or we might have had a war. Unless, of course, it was outrageously expensive. Still, wonderful!
