Two swipes, deeply sinking
Rose dies, flood of tears
My new camera, a little Nikon Coolpix, has a built-in editor for creating
artistic images including a B&W plus One Color option. It does a fairly decent job but
what it really reminded me of was that PicMonkey has such an option as well and it gives
you a bit more control over the area of color to be retained.
My dear friend, Sr. Darlene, sent me the above book this past week. I decided to pull out
some of the lovely reds. I'll be starting this spiritual exercise soon.
Sebie likes playing the open and close the door game. I open and he closes. Today he
wouldn't let me in even a little bit. Wanting to know what was going on on
the other side of the door, I stuck my arm in and snapped the picture. The
health blush of pink on his arm pops from the otherwise b/w image. He's such
a little rascal.
Cafe La Mo always has such pretty little vignettes to discover as the seasons change.
This is a left over from Valentine decorations. It's March now. Can anyone say . . .
SHAMROCK?
Monday I discovered a wee private garden behind the church at All Saints
University Parish. It serves as a memorial to Fr. Richard Forti who died in
late 1986 or early 1987. He was a very popular priest who was attached to
the university's Newman Center.
Sacred Heart of Jesus. Simple. Clear. Message received.
Blessing to all of you as you move into your weekend.
